June 2009

June 2009 was Pay It Forward month! High Country Roots and Shoots partnered with Hank and Bullit's K-9 adventures, Schwaby dogs adventures, The Doo Crew, and Tail Blazers dog walking service to raise money for Friends of Animals Utah here in Park City, and we are proud to announce that we raised more than $1200! We plan to make this an annual event and if want to help us pay it forward next year, just click on the Contact Us page to the left.

 

 

 

August/ September 2009

August and September are the months to Save Our Snow! High Country Roots and Shoots is helping the Save our Snow foundation which is a nonprofit organization which helps raise awareness about global climate change here in Park City. On August 29th, join the Save our Snow foundation and High Country Roots and Shoots at Park City Mountain Resort to help raise awareness about global climate change. From 7 A.M. until 10 A.M. we will be forming a human chain marking the projected 2050 snow line if we don't do something to change our carbon emissions.
